Welcome to this fortnight's edition of Heath eNews!
If someone had stood up 100 years ago and said that in each of our body’s cells was a code which contained all the blueprint information about you they would have been laughed out of the room (or worse). Yet today we know that our genes are in every cell. The human genome project has mapped it out. There is still much to learn about genes and genetic diseases but we are learning rapidly. Read on and be amazed.
